​Welcome to The Virginia Yerxa Community Read website. The VYCR seeks to promote reading, and support our community, through an annual book-in-common experience.


The 2025 Virginia Read is dedicated Peggy Townzen, one whose love for literature was surpassed only by her unceasing support of all who sought the solace and joy found within the pages of a book.
